Went back today to look at the beetle we passed on the way to BBBB on rte 206 in Tabernacle. Its not too shabby. Nice paint, solid pans, new seals around windows except for rear, paint blistering below back windows and on rear fender(s). Interior looks clean. Runs great per sign on windshield, no one there to check things out further. From underneath I saw some new stuff on the engine.  I can post pictures and give more details later if anyone is interested. Oh, inspection ran out May 2007.

Shame it's later than 72 or I'd take out a loan and buy it for my big 26th birthday!!!  8) I can't stand those huge tail lights.

You buy your own bus, and do what you want to your bus. I'll do what I want to so with mine. Pissing off purists one modification at at time.

Hey they are asking $4500 or BO. By the way they have some pretty cool flat LED tail lights out now to replace and solve those big old tail lights. Might want to rethink that BDay gift, hell I'll give you my buck BDay gift now. Besides that if all else is good old style fenders can always be had or even Fat Fenders for that matter and problem solved resonably.  f+t

Yep, I like the flat tail lights. More visible than the earlier styles. Frank has them on his vert, very nice.

Hmmmmmm I remember seeing those flat tail lights they do look pretty sharp. I dunno if my mom could handle another VW in the yard. I'll have to hide it like Mike C.

Greg, you would need a higher deck than mine. After all, I am 'hiding' a Cobra Mustang - a little lower roof line.
Build it the way YOU want it!

LoL that's a good idea. Where we live we have enough woods to hide a VW.  8)
