I have always wondered what was up with this car

i left a note on the car asking about it. it was last inspected in 70.  (jersy)

Looks pretty solid. Wasn't there a number on the truck that it's parked next to? I would have called that number.

I am not in to big of a rush. My wife gives me enough grief about a non running bus in the yard. it looks like it aint going anywhere either. at least I can push it into my yard!

No for sale sign. It has been just sitting there for a long time. I am interested in it's story. I know a someone who lives next door. I asked him if he knew anything about it. He said he never has worked on one and i should be the chilton. (not whay i asked him) In his defence, he just got back from Amsterdam

no call yet. When knocked at the door his wife answered the door. She took my name and,number. She said they put it up for sale a few years ago and haven't done anything with it since.  One of there kids started to say "dady said that...." before the mom hushed her. I got the impression that she wants it gone, but he doesn't. I will stop by next week if he doesn't call. maybe I can guilt him into selling it instead of letting it rot in a parking spot.

Keep talking to the wife. One thing I've learned is that wives always want you to get rid of that "piece of crap" in the driveway. Let her do the nagging for you.

 (loveYes I think so.)  He said that it was on the road a few  years ago. Something happened that he got screwed on some brake work.  he said That he would
have liked to get to it, for the last few years. but has been busy. I might have been crazy but he said it had 11,000 miles on it.
