Thanks for the info, I spoke to Bob at BD yeaterday, he was very helpful. What size is your building?

30' x 40'. Bob is great to work with. He gets the permits and doesn't charge extra for the engineered drawings. Doesn't charge ridiculous amounts for extras either.

Yes, he gets the permits but you have to pay for them.

When I had my garage built the contractor took care of all permits blueprints etc. also. I only had to speak to a township person one time who came to my house to make sure all my setbacks were good & he did that on his own, never saw the guy

Taxes. A pole barn doesn't have a "foundation" thereby skirting some property tax liability of more "permanent" structures
