I'm leaving for work for Jacksonville, FL on Monday morning for a week. Since I'm only about 65 miles from Daytona, I will be on the lookout for anything or anyone related to SJVWC  &&&&  &&&& &&&& and post pics here.

Hey Jack - Keep that weather sunny, please!  $61$ $61$ There's a large VW place in JAX called Hilltop VW that my co-workers down there say have some interesting stuff. I always check craigslist as well for whats available down there.  there's also a large yard that supposedly has V-Dubs halfway between JAX and St Augustine. Stupid work gets in the way of this. :wallbash: :wallbash:

It's not that hot down here and its only in the 50's today but I'll take the 50's over whats home.

Was going to drive down and watch the Space Shuttle blast off but was to tired from being at the race track all day yesterday and didn't wake up till 9:30 this morning.

I knew someone who watched it, said it was really incredible..... felt the percussion from the liftoff.

 I was on base (Kennedy) during a launch. Most incredible thing I ever saw. So loud you couldn't hear yourself scream.

I've seen 2 of them from here in St. Augustine but not the same as being there for the full affect like you guys are talking about. Well maybe another time.

I wish I could stay and maybe they will cancel the flight, our plane is due in Phil at 7:30pm Wed. maybe the strom will  be gone by then, and you guys will have my driveway cleared for me. (-:  888
