You could rent it out as a "carriage house" till you can buy the parts.

Broke a front CV joint on the Apple Cruise. Got the price to buy the parts to fix it. Stored the lawn furniture and other warm weather items in it.

Just kidding! but ouch!

Geez. See what Happens when you take a Water Cooled to an Air-Cooled event! Oh-oooo Thats Strange because none of the Air-Heads Broke..

Oh, if that were only true. Our beloved Jack had an incident with a new fuel pump that was sold without clips in the drive pin. So on the way to the dinner in the AM, the pin worked its way, and Jack and Joann came to a sudden stop.

Luckly there was a vacant lot to drift  into. Is that guy lucky or what?

Perhaps Jack will post pictures of the pump and the pin. So in the event some of our members bought one or is going to buy a new fuel pump, they will know what to look for.

The VWs you can sleep in are more gooder

ahem... always carry an xtra fuel pump....small and absoutely necessary  - unless someone wants to train early for the next flanders car push!

Guess the pin did not come all the way out?  If it did, it would be a miracle that you found it.

But you got it running! - thus saving the maiden in distress...no, not your car,  - Joan!

Glad you got home buddy!

Been there, done that, peaks and valleys along lifes freakin journey.  I have the "luxury" of when I have a crappy day, I walk up to the oncology ward and see infants in their last days, with their parents or guardians in the hell that they are in.  I feel pretty grateful after that.

Back to VW's, I still would like that KGhia....:)

Worked on my W deck lid and popes nose today. Could work at a decent pace if it weren't for the d_m arthritis in my sausage fingers and hands.  Taking too long but Getting closer......
