I installed the third speedo and cable in The Strap this morning with the hopes that this speedo don't seize up like the last two. I took it for a spin and I knew the speedo wasn't reading as fast as I was going (bad sign) after driving about an 8th of a mile the needle jumped up to the correct speed (good sign?) All I can do is hope it continues to work.
I don't have to go to work in the morning....

Finished drilling & tapping (improperly) the exhaust bolt on Tracy's Westy

So now it's a 7mm instead of 8mm

Said hello to the Blue Meanie (all tucked away for winter?)

Oh and I finally got enough $$$ to order the repair parts for the Syncro's axle so that'll be back on the road soon

He said it runs but does leak out the tubes so I think a rebuild is in order. At the least seals.
I need to look better but theres no Engine numbers so it must be a re-manufactured block?
Jack said he would help me get it started and see?
I have to get a voltage reg and a coil. Thats the only things missing.
The Trans is def. a Rebuild but all the parts are there even the brakes  and one spring plate.

Take a look on your outside keg. I left a 12 volt coil there. Just polish up the connectors, it should be fine.
Let me know when you & Jack are working on it. Happy to help...

Yeah, well, I was in the Holiday Spirit. That spirit is fading as fast as my love for USAIR as I sit at the gate now on hour three.

 I got stop lights again!!.

Replaced switch that I got at Action Auto yesterday.

On the last cruise to Millville I have to push harder and harder to get lights- then nothing.
