What is the min width of a garage you reccomend, and feel comfortable working in. Length is not important }dunn--
This question is for anybody.
Looking to build in the spring.   Thanks Dave

The tents are 10' wide. It was usable but, you couldnt open both doors and still get past. Based on that... 14' is the minimum I would go if space was tight. and I wouldn't build...Too many places out there that would deliver a 14X24 (up to 32) for under $4000]

The VWs you can sleep in are more gooder

I agree, 14x24' minimum
Yes that works but you will but that only gives you enough room to work on one car.

Been looking around, seems like most go from 12' to 16 ' wide,  very few 14' and when you go to 16' the price goes way up ^jawdro%

Yeah, 25' x25' is tight with two Bugs & a Bus. Something has to go   &$hmmthin_+

Add on to the garage!! An add on shed is great for storage. Bugs don't take up too much room until you disassemble them! I know because my garage is a "parts mess" right now! My garage is 24'X 40' and I need to add on a big shed! Go figure!

The reason Dave, 14' is the largest they can TRANSPORT.

16 wide they have to build on site or deliver in 2 pieces and assemble.

Labor goes WAY up when they leave their production facility

I don't think you would be to happy with 14' after you worked in it for a while.

They have a lot of buildings on display at the Williamstown Farmers Market but I don't think they are over 14'.

Well, I'm looking for work space that I can work on a car in the winter. I'm not going to retire in the house, so I don't want to spend $20K on a garage.  I may have to compromise on space a little so I can afford a warm spot to work. I like the idea of a prefab garage. I'll try to upload a drawing I put together.

I still have to remove one big stump, and get a concrete guy to tell me what I need.

I open to a metal building, don't know if the floor-footing, requirements are differant.
