Look at it as a challenge instead of a setback.  easy for me to say.
I don't have to go to work in the morning....

What great words of wisdom *+youth  Great to hear the starter worked, sorry about the oil spill Rich.
I don't know how fast my car will go.
It's more important that I know how fast my car will stop.

Ok, had a few hours today, in between putting down a Pergo floor.  Stopped at AutoZone and got two of the best Chinese made oil filter cap wrenches $5.99 can buy. One is a 93 mm/15 flute, and one is a 93 mm/36 flute. I have an AC PF13 on the engine now, so I pulled one off the shelf just to make sure one of the cap wrenches fit. (15 flute is the winner. I bought the other one just because). Got home, and something else came up, but was able to get some time and go under the Bus just now and get try to get the damn thing off. Ok, my spine is now frozen, and the damn thing slips and spins around the filter edges. It's too cold now. I'll attack it this week maybe.

Have you tried one of these. They will take off the most stuburn filter. It may dent the canister if it's realy stuck but it has always worked for me

Hmmmm, choices, choices...

Thx!

I realize I'm just convincing myself that I have a oil filter leak, and delaying a simple task, when I know deep down I bet I'm gonna have to pull the damn engine to pull the cooler..

You don't have to pull the motor to replace the cooler

I would think that if it didn't leak before you changed the filter that it is the??????
