If anyone is interested after the breakfast, I'll open the garage doors and show off the Caldwell (nee Autodynamics) D13 formula vee racer.

We're in Bridgeton, one mile from the 553 junction with 77.   You can convoy from Newport, or just stop by at your leisure.   Go west on 49, past the Court House two blocks (huge school on right) turn right on West Ave. for one block, then right at fork.
The road spills into my driveway, 239 W. Commerce St.

OK, I was in touch with Gary and for those that want to we will stop by his place after BWB Sunday to take a gander at his Vee racer.
Jim T. also use to have a Vee.

I know back in the 60's you could build a open wheel Vee for little money and all cars had a stock 40HP engine and trans. I'm sure the cost has gone through the roof by now. The Super Vee's could have bigger engines but I really don't remember what now, I'm sure Gary can fill us in on it when we visit.
I don't have to go to work in the morning....

 Jacks house to my house 1.25  hr.s
 Matt's house to eats       2.0   hr.s

assuming Jack would be bringing me back home.... double the above.
 6.5 hr.s of driving..... but then again, 4 of those hours he would have incredible company to enjoy on his drive...
 so.. I am thinking it is the remaining 2.5 hr.s of driving that makes the pancakes not worth it to him.....
