see ya about 6:15
I moved the buggy to the cooler garage instead of the Hot as Hell Barn. ::fire::

Do you think this is enough room I hope so?

Put a Room air conditioner in the window hope it makes it through the night. It has been sitting on it's side for
7 years..... Q3surrender.gif

I will check the temp in the morning.
Anyone who wants to stop by is welcome.

Went out to the garage at 7:00 am

Started the removal of the fender welts in prep for painting ...........

Got three fenders loose, removed the welts ......

This is hard work for an old guy !!!!!

Wife came out at 11 am and said it was time to come in,
getting too hot, it was only 85 in the garage with the
swamp cooler running.  I was doing fine.  100 out side .....

Might have to replace the left rear fender, found lots of rust
in the seam.  The one with the big dent !!!

Went to order a fender and everybody is out of stock @#$@@$^&%#$ !!!

Tomorrow is another new day

Thanks, Beetleboi -Greg-and JackWagen For Coming over to look at the Buggy.  It is hot as hell even with the Air conditioner running.  It's was 100o out side, But a cool inside temp of

I thought I floated a Valve.   Well I did in a way.  #3 valve was not moving because the spring Snapped.
The valve moves freely and dose not seam to be bent. **^bana0

Jack says he has a tool to put a new Spring in with out pulling the head.  Going to work on it one Monday.  2@@cool
Will post pictures after it's done

I have the tool to hook the compressor to the cylinder to keep the valve from dropping in.

Just be careful when installing a spring without taking the head off. You could apply air to the cylinder with the car in reverse and have it roll back onto your pantleg and trap you there fo a few hours until your wife comes home to free you....

I'm just saying that's what could happen  whistleegi

Peltzer and I put a new Pass. brake caliper on the bus. I knocked the Rev. lockout off the P.O.S. EMPI shifter so I had the neighbor weld it back together and strengthend it up a bit. OMG I washed the bus too.  -eyescan.=  Rdy for June Bug Classic XXIV now.  (*speeder

Went to move my convert, - been sitting for about a year,
would not turn over and brakes were frozen -.
Tried jumping the car for some extra voltage oomph, & tried some other things  but starter would not turn   Q3surrender.gif
Removed rear wheel  banged on the frozen drum, would not give in,  jumped the starter contacts  with screwdriver and heard the solenoid kick in to the starter.

Tried the ignition key and it started
Put the wheel back on and snapped the brake shoes away from the drum with the engine's help! Drove it a bit

Now got to change out that ~ 3 year old gas..................

My tentative plan is to build a car port to protect my cars during winter & other weather; as money finds its' way to me, will make it into a garage -shed - nothing nearly as glamorous as the BAHA Ultimate garage though....
