Beware, some of those Pinto's have small block Chevy's.

Had a coupla of hours this weekend to play with the MugBug. Confirmed I got some air leaks coming from the carb throttle. Since MugBug was a Califormia bug, also found an air leak at the manifold where the stinkin EGR valve used to be bolted to. Have an temporary little block plate made of some tin and sealant.. I got to make a permanent one. Got idle at about 1500 RPM so I don't stall out - should be fun in a parade :) - Waiting on my new rebuilt carb to come...
Sprayed lubricant all over the front end parts because I can. Checked the brakes to make sure they weren't dragging. Moved the pedal stop back a hair to relieve pressing on push rod. didnt have a chance to test ride..

Decided to give Junior a home,

he's been out in the elements waay too long - keep him in better shape until I get to working on him....

Those black spots... well they are what you think they are - used it to seal the screws to be driven - dont' worry I have enough left over for Jack's Shawn's and Yucel's vans - no more rust for you guys! - treated lumber

Very very thick plastic preventing moisture to floor

Aimed to be a tight fit -  minimal amt of lumber to get the job done - short on space & money!!!

OF course it rains!  VERY thick plastic is pulled up and is anchored under future walls

Back, no roof yet..........

All of the plywood has been water sealed and is water proof via Thompsons' water sealer for wood, etc..

Had some 2 MICRON Stainless Steel fabric on hand, ( Very weird stuff) for soffets   -  water & vermin proof but still breathes

Just finished up this weekend... enough for now!  no  2@cent left in my pockets, but he is all sealed and safe from the elements including thick, falling branches ( which just missed him last year)
All stainless steel screws, built to be solid but allow quick de-assembly. Not a permanent fixture, just to hold him over........
(The shed on the left is the one I rebuilt this summer - so maybe next year will paint Juniors home to match...)

- was kinda fun to make, but a real pain with no help (esp with the plywood) but finished it!

Thanks, it wasnt too bad cost wise, I looked at getting one of those portable hooped /aluminum pole cover-garages, but with some heavy limbs coming down  ( knowing my luck) it would go right through it - they were roughly the same cost

Thanks Joe,

Scarecrow, I wish it came in kit form.

Rich, do you need a permit for a crate?   byeby.,
