MOTO ROKR! Clips on sunvisor, bluetooth interface to phone, finds empty FM channel & Announces it to you. You tune to that channel & viola! Your tunes are there. Coolest part is your phone comes out your speakers so you can HEAR a phone call in a VW!

Better still is the Clarion CZ500  for 150 it  is has built in bluetooth and comes with a mic and uses your speakers as hands free for the cell, you can also stream internet radio via bluetooth, it also had HD radio and a usb port, and an aux input jack...  I love mine!!!  shawn's is cool, I have seen him use in in his truck, but if your stereo is old, replacing the head unit is the way to go, HD radio is quite nice, no static or FM interference on your tunes.
