                                      Well,  I know it took me a little while, but hey, some people have garages done, but for me,.....   whistleegi

                              The bathroom is finally finished!!!




                                but  of course ran into quite a few issues  bawlin)0  bawlin)0








                                some very big problems which I     could not figure out   [gunfiring\








                              So I went to plan    "B"

  Actually went from this.....










  Subfloor repair, plywood bulid-up, cement board,  new floor tile, new threshold, new door frames, and door







  All new walls, reframed the wall studs for bigger mirror, new wiring for outlet and lights






  New sink and associated plumbing, new..... commode....






   
          New tub ( what a pain to put in) all new wall plumbing and adapted new drain system to our old 42 year old drain system.  Seemed like the fun would never stop!



 



  All new tile on new backerboard, and sound insulated shower wall which shares Katie's bedroom wall to cut down on "Shower Noise"   :confused04:;





  OK, what's next?  ??????

   And there was a few side tracks along the way, .... including replacing the impeller in the washer.... hey, took some time!  & that sucker was a pain!!!!!!!


       

like doing majorplumbing work -  moving my water conditioner tank  and remove the old pressure tank to make room for a newer bigger one...

 I can appreciate your pain. I'm now past three years into a bath for the basement - from scratch.

What I really hated, besides all of it, was working in such a small area for so long.... at times it was tough to move around as you needed.... and getting that bathtub in.. #banghead
