In another thread a few folks mentioned needing a thermostat.

After doing a little research I found that they ARE being made for all applications

Don't bitch about the pricetag, because a minute ago you thought you could NEVER get one. EVER EVER EVER
That made them PRICELESS

$100 bucks is cheap for a priceless item   thumpup)-

I should have been more descriptive. IMHO, 100 bucks plus is crazy. I'd jam the damn flaps open and call it a day. That's why some folks like vanilla, some folks like chocolate, and some folks hate ice cream altogether... **^bana0

This reminds me when I was looking for a bellows and other parts for a power brake booster for the buses, and there was one dude in Texas who made them or had them and then he died or just bagged it, I forget... but after he wasn't available, the coin was a bit much for a rebuilt replacement as I recall... %$oldcit

Its like the old saying that something is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it,,,

Why does everybody think they just open up like a choke and stay that way?

They move...They regulate the engine temperature making it run better, more efficiently and EXTEND ITS LIFE

Many folks may not have the financial means to dump endless coin into parts that are debatable as to their effect
*bills)

Are these the same German engineers that designed a windshield washer system running off of air pressure of the spare running an active water line into an electrical switch assembly, the same engineers who designed an oil filler that's about 3 inches too short to fill, a horn switch assembly that's absurd, etc etc ?/moon2..
