EMPI Lowered Front Shocks 68-72 Bug
« on: October 29, 2008, 08:53:16 pm »

I purchased a new pair of EMPI Lowered Shocks Ball Joint style 66-77 Bug/Ghia for 50 Bucks asking for 25 because they will just sit here dad can't use them because he has a Super. Have some thing to trade?! Let me know.

http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=C13-9653

I found KYB Lowered front Shocks and Regular Rear Shocks and I'm going to go with KYB because they have a better rep.

I could be wrong but I believe that if you use dropped spindles the shocks stay in stock position.
At least that's what I did on mine with dropped spindles, I used stock shocks.

The square has been lowered in the front and I still use stock shocks. If your front axle can knock over a standing beer can- use stock . If you can drag the can- use lowered.
