Glass Install - Part 2

Update on glass install - rear window out, I took pics of the deinstall just in case folks arent familar with that. I dont know the right or wrong way, just pulled the trim, got a sharp razor knife and pulled out. Cleaned the mounting area with some WD-40 and my new friend, acetone. BTW, whoever mentioned to me at the last meeting that acetone takes off excess primer was right on. :icon_thumright:

I am currently down in a sauna known as Jacksonville, FL, which may be a good place to have packed and put the new seals out in the sun to soften up.

Acetone :icon_tongue: one of my favorite chemicals stoned# very useful stuff :icon_compress:

Also cleans and disinfects those deep cuts on your hands caused by those pesky engine tins... LAUGH@

Thats not the way George and Jack taught me. The wire was pulled towards the window from the inside.  See, I DID pay attention... WA#

I have the front seal to do on the GlowBug. I'm holding that off to a proposed March 2010 SVC tech session as its a curved one and I dont feel real confident about doing that myself. @7@
