So I've been thinking about my Germany trip in July... that's going to be about 2500 I could put towards the 4k I want to spend on a bus/camper/vanagon. I might not ever get a chance to go to Germany again, and bus', hopefully, will be around for a few more years. I know most of you will tell me to go to Germany, anyone think I should get the bus instead? I will be playing for a music festival in Cologne Germany. 3 Hours from the VW Factory.  d-s d-s

this is a no brainer- buses will always be around. This might be your only chance for germany.

Germany...

Keep in mind you will (I sure hope!) be making more money the older you get, so the cost of the Bus will be less than it is now, comparatively speaking. This is why you see old men with cars they re-did etc, because they've got the house, kids and daily driver paid for, with spare change for projects.

Glad you saw the light Greg... you gotta go to Germany. Whatta an opportunity!!  Be sure to go to the VW Museum, then maybe in a few years you can find a bus you learned about in the museum!

Hey Beat. I will have Two, yes Two young German ladies "20's blonde Blue eyes" visiting from Germany and staying with me over the Christmas Holidays. Want I should hook you up? I know that the one can speak 5 languages and one being engilish very well, so no need to pratice your Dutch? Bring your Tuba it might make a big impression on them.  s#r
