me and weezer went to Jacks house. The man has an eye for details. Picked up a couple of things I hadnt thought of with the carb. One of them had a auto choke adjustment to make as well as a linkage adjustment. He reset the idle air after that and now shes humming.

Jack- I set the idle- book says to set it at 600. It seems kinda fast. I left it at 500. I also shortening the spring on the offending carb. Hopefully all should be good now.

I let Jack drag race in weezer. Felt good.

Jay and I took a ride to Ocean View to pick up the last of the exterior items I wanted for the Syncro.

Installed today. The "look" is complete.

Jay says I should name it "Discovery" or "Titan 5" or some other cool name

That does look good!! Now you have room for the kitchen sink and a very shinny chrome ladder will top it off.

Took Chester for a road trip to North Jersey this weekend and he performed flawlessly.  Total mileage about 250 miles, top speed about 65-70mph didn't really want to push him past that.

Ate part of my karmann ghia for my birthday. Holly's friend made a cake shaped like a VW
the detail was GREAT. The girl that made it said she never made a vw before, but if this was her first time she should make all kinds of cars, vans, etc.

Will post pictures, when I learn how- Ha Ha "you can't teach old dogs new tricks"

Go to Picasaweb.com and set up an account.
Then... Download the software and install it.
Then... When you run it, it will find all of the photos on your computer.
It will not alter or move them in any way. It will just catalog them and allow you to scroll through them without having to go through folders. This alone makes it worth running the software.
Then... You can right click on the ones you want to share and select "upload to web album".
When you do that , you can share them with all of us... And believe me, we WANT to see 'em. You have some seriously cool photos.

Took SweetPeas to a friends place to work on the Windshield.
It was cut out and only found one pin hole top left.

and A rusty Dash

It was all wire brushed out

POR was applied and is drying now

All that is left is some White paint and to have the winshield put back in.

Cheers
