If you do the PB blaster at least a half hour before heating it, it shouldnt catch fire. Besides, it'll keep you warm.

Any chance getting a nut splitter on the nuts? Maybe that would be the safest route.

You have to get the nuts red hot or split them with a cold chisel.   That torch will work but you want to use the yellow bottle Mapp gas, it's  hotter not the blue propane gas.

Pulled off both Heater Boxes. No broken studs but pulled out two complete studs. Ok to re-use or order new ones? Not really worked about down time. Is this something I can pick up at an auto part store?

Need to prep and paint the new pipes and re-spray the muffler. going with flat black... I don't like shiny stuff.

Will probably need a push rod seals in the future, the very back two look like they are leaking. Also noticed that i do not have a way to mount the tins (when I get there) maybe we can fab something up the future.

Video of her idling before exhaust change...

Side by side image of custom manifold... (not matching sides)

Make sure you remove the old gaskets in the heads before you put the new ones in.

Finished up the structural replacement on the Champagne.

Have some overhead welding (yuk) to do underneath and then the battery tray & quarters go on.

I would drill the ends of the vertical weld out on the picture on the right then fill with weld or they may crack in future...

Can somebody photocopy the page in the Bently with the push rod seal removal for a TYPE 4 motor? Or let me know what to expect before I take it all apart.
