Saturday we got Millie's new starter installed!!!  I took us an hour after the bolts were off to get the starter off since the long bolt was rusted like mad, which made sense since it was the original starter, so that puppy was in there for 28 years!!!!!   So after we replaced it we worked on cranking her, and she started right up, on Ether that is...   Yea, the fuel injectors are shot, as are the lines.  But proof of concept was hit.  I now know that the electrics and computers are all good, since she kept running with a feed of ether!!!  So, injectors are ordered, and I'll start replacing all the fuel lines!!!!   Today was a good day!!  Thanks for the help Yucel!!!

I hope this makes sents.
I ordered a Carter electric pump (2-4LBS) on Tuesday, received it on Thursday. Went to the garage yesterday. Looked at the fuel pump, then the trike and back to the fuel pump. That's when it dawned on me. How the h*#l do I get under the trike (I can get under it, but never get back up). #banghead
I'm going back to a manual pump. I can change a manual pump by myself. Now is when I need some help.

1. Who and where to get a good American/ German pump from.
2. Old pump is for a Gen. I now have an Alt. on the trike.
3. What pump and parts do I need to order.

I sure would like a name and part numbers that I will need.

Stoped bye Richies garage today and picked up 2 thing rims.

To bad they look like chit on the buggy. I dont think it has that 40's look with them on.... Looks like I'm going to have to get drop spindles. "darn"

On a side note I mocked up the Window again and installed the hinge to the window and drilled some of the holes for the frame. Have to get some Nuts and Bolts.

     Installed one master cylinder.  **^bana0 Went pretty easy for the most part. clap2-* Brakes are better than they were and I haven't bled them them yet.  I am having an overheating problem.  At highway speeds it will over heat or at least the dipstick senser says it is.  I've had the timming all over the place with no effect.  too lean?  I dunno. Tried timming it with a timming light.  0 deg. dosen't seem to line up with any thing.   I have it running pretty good by ear.   Maybe I'm just not looking at it right?  Wrong plugs? :confused04:;

The center of the case should be lined up with 7.5 or 10 degrees BTDC "Right of TDC"at 800-900rpm with a max of 30 at hight rpm.
Zero Degrees should be left of center case.You can check TDC with a pencil to make sure your pulley is on correct.

I know you dont have a stock pulley

 On my after market pulley, top dead center is off by 12 degrees.
