It is getting to that time of year again for the SNOW BIRDS to go South !!!  

VWs on the River 10  in  YUMA, ARIZONA

The campout starts on Friday morning Nov 4, 2011 to Sunday Nov 6,2011  
Anybody with a VW is invited to the CAMPOUT & Show  
Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner on Friday evening.    Free BEER while
the Keg Lasts !!!!!  

The place is at the Yuma County Fair Grounds, enter from
Pacific Ave across from Walmart, look for the VW sign

Tents are OK for those that don't have a van to campout  
Pets are invited too, you have to clean up after them !!!  

The price is the same $10 per vehicle per night to camp, $5 for dinner on
Friday night per person.  If you bring and additional towed vehicle the
fair grounds charges us another $10.  This does not apply to VW size trailers.  

The Show is on Sat from 9 am to 3 pm.  The Show this year is also going
to take place at the Yuma County Fair Grounds.  Two hundred yards from
the camping to the Show !!!!  No driving all over town to find the Show.  

We have Hot showers for the campers & nice clean restrooms with
flush toilets in the camping area.  

The Show price is the same as last year:
$10 show entry includes driver, $2 for each additional person,
Kids under 10 free .......  Vendor's spaces $20 flat fee.  

Bring your own shade, as there are no trees in the Show area.  

Engine Blow, Raffle, Food, Cold and Hot drinks will be available.  
Please No Glass bottles or Glass containers in the Show area.

This is an Event for the whole family, come and Enjoy !!!!!!!!

All proceeds go to ABERLEY'S PLACE, a shelter for abused kids and women ...
check them out online !!!   We retain no monies from the Event !!!!!!!

Yes Jack we have a mountain view, NO SNOW, as the weather in
Nov. is usually in the mid to upper 70's., with lows in the upper 50's
at night.  This is a great campout & show, with people coming from all over
the country.  Even some from BC, Canada, Alaska, many of Snow Birds
that are here in Yuma to get away from THE SNOW !!!   2@@cool
 
The western states are represented by those from Calif, Colorado,
New Mexico, Utah, and of course Arizona. 

Any VW powered vehicle is welcome, new or old. 

Secret Recipe for the Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner, dog gone good !!! 

Last year we went through 200+ lbs of chicken, all got eaten    &^beer& 

Seeing that all the money goes to charity, we are there to have a good time  **^bana0 **^bana0

to be rebuilt.  Should be ready to pick up next week.
