Well, I never planned to attend the FYBO campout, because I thought camping in January was just plain stupid. But then I heard there was going to be poporn. So, I figured I could wear long-johns like I do snowboarding, bundle up, have a HUGE fire and we could have Mr. Heater warm up the bus for sleeping. Soooo.... I attempted it... and had a great time!! I was actually never cold (until the last 1/2 of the bus ride home) and it was tons of fun! Movie night was fun - a documentary about an old dude living off the land in Alaska was good - we could still chat and joke together during it. The popcorn was excellent!! And all the candy made it feel just like we were at the theater.
The stew and garlic taters were good... but my favorite was the midnight macaroni! clap2-*
Karen & Heather - you don't have to wait for FYBO2 next year, we'll probably be back at Belleplain in March or April and that may be a better time for you and the family to go. It will still be cool at night, but the days will be warmer. The boys will have a blast, you can join us by the campfire for smores & good times, then go to the cabin to
on a nice warm bed.
