towing a beetle
« on: February 13, 2012, 09:03:19 am »

I have to tow a beetle home next Saturday from Allentown, PA, anyone know if I can tow it with my bus, or would that be a bad idea? I live in Levittown. Of course I would take the back roads.

Sure if you have a good hitch on the bus. What year is the bug?

I have one of these on my bus. Curt Manufacturing Hitch #11655

It was a simple install. I wouldn't put to much tongue weight on it tho.
Are you flat towing it?

There is also this one not sure how hard to put on.

Cheers

Wayne, if you need a tow vehicle, I'm available the 25th. I could swing by and pick you up. I also have a tow bar for the standard beetle. cell 484-429-0106
