9:30 works for me too.
I think I sent everyone a PM with my address.
Let me know if you didn't get it.
Let me know donut preferences if any.
Are we going to go into lunch time?
I was thinking about ordering a hoagie platter from Capriotti's
http://capriottis.com/index.php
I'm not sure if I have to call it in the night before or not.

I have regular open/box metric wrenches, regular 3/8 drive and 1/2 drive sockets, and 1/4 deep sockets but no regulars. I think my sockets go to 19mm. I think my wrenches go to 24mm. I have a set of metric allen wrenches too.
My 1/4 ratchet is messed up though.
I have 4 jack stands and a floor jack, but it isn't the greatest. It can jack and hold a vehicle, but it slowly goes down. Not fast enough to see it go down, but if you have the car lifted an inch above a jack stand after about an hour it's sitting on the stand. I've never seen it go all the way to the floor though even holding a car over night. And it doesn't go very high for some reason, so I use 4x6 blocks standing long ways to jack the back of my bus from where the motor mount goes through the frame.

As far as parts to install while the motor is out I don't have any at the moment, and I don't know if I'll have time to get anything on Saturday.
I did want to replace my fuel and vent lines though.
Does anyone know what size fuel lines I need and how much length of each I should buy?

I have no charcoal canister. If anyone has the parts I would like to do that, but I'm not sure how it can work with my carbs.
If it looks like we can do something with it and someone has the parts let me know how much.
My crankcase vent just goes straight down. Not sure if we can do anything better with it or not.
I don't have any EGR stuff, but I was wondering if there is anyway to make it work with aftermarket carbs or not, or if it's just too unreliable to even bother to figure out?

I also want to move my fuel pump and fuel filter out of the engine compartment. Right now it's mounted at the bottom of the fuel tank wall in the middle.

I have a battery tray, but I'm not sure how we could do that.

I think I might have a bad motor or trans mount too.

Take a breath, son, its gonna be fine... %$oldcit

You have plenty of time to get any parts needed, as your engine problem is diagnosed. Id definitely take this as an opportunity to clean that compartment out real gooder and get to all the crap that is a PIA to get to- fuel lines plus the fuel tank connector that crumbles like cake are good starts,. I'll defer to the  Bus experts on what else...

You may want to take a bunch of pics that document where stuff is, just in case...

Capriottis , OMG- that should have been mentioned first, dude. That place rocks. **^bana0

Anthony- go on the Samba and search "charcoal canister" there are instructions how to make one yourself as that part is NLA. I think I remember they use charcoal pellets used for aquarium filters.

Do you have an electric fuel pump?

Coffee & Donuts fine Anthony. We wont be that long.

Here's the plan folks. We'll do a quick compression test and then a pressure test (to see where the air goes)

If we don't get favorable results, we'll pull the engine and I'll take it up to the Taj so George can check it out

Yes, I have an electric fuel pump.

I returned the compression tester I borrowed from autozone, so if someone has one could they please bring it?
Also the adapter piece to blow air into the spark plug hole.

I am coming to give a hand. Literally, one hand as I got hurt at work and have my arm in two braces.
