Vehicle Emergency Supplies
« on: May 23, 2014, 11:04:03 am »

Hello, I just wanted to post a few photos of the emergency supplies I kept in my Jeep, now in the bus.  In this kit I have everything I need to survive for 3 days, including toiletries, and first aid. Everything fits nicely in a ammo can (5.56 800 rnd type) except a few bottles of water, and a 10 X 10 tarp to make a shelter if needed (not a necessity in a bus LOL).

If I may add, something you young-ins don't use anymore - some cash stowed in a secret place. %$oldcit Also, one thing I do is get out the jack (no, not that Jack) and make sure I'm good to go as far as changing a tire even though I have AAA. I also get all the wheels off and mount the spare. Better to be aware that some dumb a** tightened the lugs at 350 ft lbs in your driveway than on some road in Podunk on a rainy night. %$oldcit
