Took the windshield out. I found a bit of rust...all surface and it is gone now.

P.S. for Jack. The garage door was open,fan blowing and ice water was handy.   LoL LoL

picked up my 64 bus from the rusty wagon today. kris did a beautiful job on it. had my cargo door rocker repaired. now to get the new heater in for the xmas cruise.

Three starters in how long??  That just doesn't sound right.

OH I'd say about 3 years.  This one got fried because of the voltage regulator...  in fact it got so hot it melted my air shock line...  2 bolts 2 wires and about 10 minutes and it was switched.

I put stainless steel Vent Visors on the Brick along with an old school dealer license plate frame(Walnut Creek Cole European) & a Penna. Reading Railroad sticker on the Rat

I researched the +'s and -'s about Bays VS Vanagons plenty of time to research. I'm also considering staying at a campground one whole month during the summer... all this talk and I don't even have it yet. =-)

I took Georges advice and pulled every fuse out, cleaned up every contact, put new fuses in, and

I have turn signals that work!!!! LAUGH@

              Washed and waxed the ghia then did some touch up etc.
               Did all the work needed to get the bus ready for paint.

Opened up my new seat :icon_cheesygrin:, cover shot, thats OK, springs and frame have a little rust but intact :icon_thumright:
