why did you have to check the brakes in the first place? Peace of mind or was there an issue?

OK Bud... What's a 4" Solar Vent?

I dont know my bus history very well, but didnt those late models come with a small plastic crank vent on top of the van to let out interior heat?

For peace of mind, because the backs where so bad when I got it, thought the fronts may be very low.

It's more important that I know how fast my car will stop.

Moved tools from back of Bus to underneath the bench seat & covered it up with luan & black carpet. Then I added carpet to the rear that matches main cabin. Got the curtains from Shawn & Jay scored the rods for me. Thanks Guys

By no means done I have bunch more ideas including a way to install a bed & keep the bench seat.

Carpet & curtains look good Mark. Nice job

I like it in the front

Yeah, me too. It's not too bad to load from either door & the slider PLUS I can get off-road light brackets that mount on the basket rail.

Hot Weather Hood Prop
« Reply #447 on: July 15, 2010, 08:02:40 pm »

OK, so I'm sitting @ the Bound Brook show admiring Jack's hot weather hood prop   thinking I could use one of those.  With the Rat form follows function, has to be simple (or simple minded ) & made from free stuff found around the garage.  Hmmm, let see, a clevis pin & clip to hold piece of scrap metal to bumper, a little tape to keep it from rattling, zip tie to hold hood down &  c clamp to hold everything firmly in place both when in use & folded away

How bout that, I was working on my hood prop also today to replace my board. (getting tired of John raging on me) It's not as complex as yours but will be adjustable.
