I am going to switch to '65 front brakes. From what I research and read '65 is the best
I am also switching to an early Bus master cylinder. The piston is bigger. That gives more brake pressure.

That explains why the Meanie stopped so well. Stock (65) brakes and a bus master cylinder... (till I replaced it)

I can't remember how many times I worked on the trike to no avail. Today I finally figured it out how to get my trike running and back on the road.   "I called George, asked him to make the trip and get the trike running".  **^bana0
It took George about 6 minutes and the trike was running, and better then ever. Because I haven't used the trike since I wound up in the wheelchair I promised him I will not use it until somebody follows me a couple of times.

  Got the trailer out and greased, same as the bug.  Modified ( welding)  the trailer bumper brackets to improve trailer-driving angle for Bob. Drove 9+ hours  one way last weekend to Kentucky to bid on a Sophia look-alike at an auction in the boonies. body was perfect, but the convert top frame  was bent, and the driver door was hanging all wrong...  so went home... been working on the car tent, have to rebuild the dressing room platform  and include new support stands to accommodate a 55 - trying to have a new travel cover made for the tent, ( upholster will not return my call) then should be all set.  I would have come to the meeting, but after 20 hours of driving over the weekend, I had enough for a while.........
