Hey guys,

Time for Clayton again.
so who is up for volunteering besides me?  BO** BO**

We're going to need people for the following jobs:  $61$

Help direct traffic  :police:
park cars   flamebug** black)) bronz)) yell)) yellowbug** Jt3 sqBk
run the registration tables ( 2 of em!)  :icon_cheesygrin: :icon_cheesygrin:
judge the show ( don't get scared of this one...those Camaros don't bite! )  bronz_cup-winner
help out in general  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft:

We will be starting out in 2 locations, the first is the Acme parking lot in "Beautiful Downtown Clayton"  (love this is the starting point for the parade.
We are going to need people to help out at the lot with car registration and arranging the parade.

The second location will be Little Ease park. I'll be there and we will need some folks to help set up the second registration table, park cars & direct traffic. Its not mandatory for the show people to participate in the parade so anybody who wants to just do the show wil be sent to the park. It will be important to set up the  show field and get things in order so when the prarade has ended the second wave of cars can be parked quickly.

You bet! We won't be part of the car show but a nice display of our rides won't hurt and can show the other make guys how cool VWs can be especially in the parade! We also will be elligible for a "Peoples Choice Trophy" which will be picked by the people with cars in the show.  bronz_cup-winner silver_cup_winner goldwinner

I would think it best if any volunteers can show up around 8:30 AM, this way we can get organized and get a start if any cars show up early. If you've never helped out or been "On the other side of the curb" you have no idea how much fun this can be. Its a chance to get "up close and personal" with what goes on behind the scenes of any car show! ( and you thought it was just waiting around for the trophies! no way! )

Now in case you've been asleep, camping or missed the last meeting the show date is: 

THIS SATURDAY - October 17th.

THIS SUNDAY - October 18th

Keep your eye on these boards in case of rain....but lets hope we have a nice day.

Great! Judging is going to be easy, we're using the same system from Punch Buggy

The BBQ was "Gerrys BBQ" he has the best around so bring an appetite!

Glad to have you on board! you did a "bang up job" as a Judge last year!
I don't remember the exact address of the park but I'm sure somebody will jump in here. If we can think of anything you can bring it will be posted here, how about your bike? Hope its nice enough weather for you to ride it down!

You guys wil be a big help again! and no problem if Katie wants to bring friends! Good way to break this "Younger Generation" in when it comes to car shows!! Be great to see the crew again!

Little Ease Park, 29 East Ave. Clayton, NJ. is located behind the Clayton Historical Museum on East Ave. MAP

Cars for the parade will line up on W. Linden St. next to the Acme facing Delsea Drive. Registration should be set up at the south driveway for the Acme on Linden St. by 10am. I think Joe has the starting time for the parade.
