yep bills tires cheap and they are better than wats on it now im sure

Celly

Rich... do yourself a favor and buy the correct tires once and forget the used tire advice.  Bus Depot is your friend.

It\'s not a car, it\'s not a van, its a BUS!

Its like a magnet... mention tires and he shows up ;-P

white on rice baby!!!

its just that i've been down that road before (riding on Passenger/death tires ) and i'm trying to steer people away from BAD decisions... you think i'm bad, goto the bay window samba forum and lookup "tires for bus"

ps.  not trying to argue, just trying to educate (from real life experience)

Seriously, the difference in handling is like night & day. Not to mention the safety aspect. Do it right the first time you will be glad you did

Ahhh, talking Bus tires again.

Don't bother buying KILLER tires or truck tires, do the right thing and buy the tire you really need for a bus, Bus Depot has them.

I'm saving up for Hankook RA07's 165  14's from Bus Depot.  Did plenty of research on Samba as well as on our site.  Pretty funny going back over the threads with Celly and Greg goin at it...

My custom Rustoleum paint job deserves the very best! Plus, I need all that rigid sidewall to make up for the blown out ball joints as I someday get into 4th gear.

well i was just saying until its up and he is realy driving it. for now its worth 10 bucks to know its not going to blow out when u pull back in your drive way. (guess i missed the tire war???)

buglvw (Howard)

Way back in 1976 when I had my 71 bus Pennsylvania would not pass my bus for inspection unless it had a 4 ply truck type tire on it.
