After wet sanding and buffing noone can tell the difference.  But the whole car needs stripped down and repainted at this point, the roof was just a quick job to give it some visual interest for the magazine and to blend the fiberglass hood and trunk into the car.

I've done lots of rusto cars and yes, it is real paint.

Valspar Tractor & Implement paint is two stage acrylic enamel! Not that fence paint.... ooops
