OK, I was looking to buy

Person had it listed as being in excellent condition, rated it as a 1; talked to him about the car for quite a while... seemed fine with only trim needed to be added... body off restoration
Traveled

Took my Honda - 6 hours one way! Told the owner how far I was traveling..
When Ted and I got there, I found the car had sealant around the rear window gasket ( gee I wonder why) The body was twisted to the extent it took all your might (literally) to slam the passenger car door closed, and to open it, it took quite a bit of strength to keep opening the door to its' full openness. the driver door was a bear to close. Welds for patches were done poorly, new floors were put in poorly - reboxed the rails in a poor manner.... on and on. Stayed there less than 10 minutes... I was pretty peeved.
So cost me one vacation day, about $60.00 in gas, 12 hr.s driving, ........ and feeding Ted - which of course costs a lot too.
What the heck are people trying to sell? The car is a basket case...
The next day, I found my Honda transmission no longer likes to be in "Drive" - it now always prefers neutral.
Towing it to the tranny shop tomorrow...
Fun Times....
I would say live and learn, but this guy completely mislead me, and probably will do so to others.
