Guys, Never park your car for a long time with the E-Brake on, put it in gear or chock the wheels. Even over the winter the drums can rust to the brakes.

Peltzer and I put a new Pass. brake caliper on the bus. I knocked the Rev. lockout off the P.O.S. EMPI shifter so I had the neighbor weld it back together and strengthend it up a bit. OMG I washed the bus too.  -eyescan.=  Rdy for June Bug Classic XXIV now.  (*speeder

is the rotor scored? Are the pads thick enough? If not, just run them for a few days until they get used to each other

Are your anti squeal shims in place? Also you may need to use some anti squeal silicon with the shims.

Guys, this is a continuation of the problem I had with it. Cold the wheel spins free, but after using it the brakes get tight. Come back from a drive and put it on a jack an its tough to spin the wheel. The next morning, it spins freely. He's replaced the lines, and now the caliper

Thanks Shawn for the explanation.

Could it have something to do with the master cylinder?

It was weird comming back from June Bug Show. Would only squeal when I turned the wheel. Stopped at a store for a few min. Then would only squeal going straight and stop when turning?

Cheers

Here I go answering for Glen again... By lines I meant soft lines (hoses)

put it in nuetral and put it on Jack stands

I prefer Shawn stands but I guess if there good enough for Jack....
